Dear Friends,

Herewith we want to express our appreciation for your support of the mission work. We wish the Lord’s blessing upon you and your gifts. A month has fled away again. May the Lord give us an impression of the brevity of our lives. At this time Tom and Meta are waiting for their visa to return to Nigeria. Jan and Janny Louwerse are at present in the Netherlands. May the Lord give prayer for more mission workers. The need is very great. Holland asks also for more workers for Irian Jaya. On Oct. 11 the mission board hopes to meet to discuss many things. May the Lord give wisdom and direction in all these serious matters. I hope that our people realize that they all have an important part to play in the activities of the mission. Those who have been taught to pray, that they may lay the needs before the Lord, and those who are able, to sustain it financially. The mission board also has its responsibilities , and so many cares and decisions to make.
