SHEBOYGAN

The Ebenezer Christian School of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, was opened by Rev. L. Kieboom on September 6, 1977 with the singing of Psalter 325:1, 2. Verses 1–8 of Psalm 78 were read, and a few remarks were made instructing the students that they are a new generation, and we are commanded to teach them the mighty deeds of God just as the Israelites were commanded to do. The students were urged to be industrious and to respect those in authority.

Rev. Kieboom closed with prayer, acknowledging the Lord for making it possible to have a school of our own and asking for the Lord’s guidance and help in all our endeavors.

It is the desire of the school board and consistory, that even though the beginning is small, that it may grow and that the children may receive a Christian education.
