ACKNOWLEDGMENT FROM CHILLIWACK, BRITISH COLUMBIA
Our consistory and the board of our “ Timothy Christian School” , wishes to express their hearty thanks and appreciation to the Congregation of Kalamazoo for the nice collection held on behalf of our school, amounting to $1,056.00 (American Currency).
Further, we have received collections from almost all our congregations, and from friends in the Classes East. Very nice gifts were also received from Choteau, Corsica, Lethbridge and Sunnyside.
May there be a prayer in our hearts for the wellbeing of all our schools, and let the parents remember what is mentioned in Proverbs 22:6: “ Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
Rev. Verhoef, president.
GREETINGS FROM REV. C. HEGEMAN
Due to my recent illness, it is impossible for me to say thanks personally for all the tokens of friendship we received during the year 1975. Nevertheless, our thoughts go to the U.S. and Canada. (Psalter 212, second tune) We hope that the Lord will remember all his servants and chosen people in all circumstances of life. Also, my prayer is for all our friends and their children, soldiers, and lonely people. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem for 1976.
With greetings, Fam. C. Hegeman.
