SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Rev. M. Romeyn, of Chilliwack, Canada, underwent surgery on September 22, in the hospital at Vancouver, B.C. Canada. May the Lord remember him in his serious condition, with his wife and children and congregation, and that all these callings may be sanctified to our hearts, and that we may learn to number our days while it is yet the day of grace.
We hope that the Lord will recover our brother and visit him in His love and favor in Christ Jesus. Let us remember him in our prayers.

The Macedonia Mission Society desires to distribute booklets of the Bible History written by Mr. John Vreugdenhil directly to children at no cost. As an inducement for them to read their contents, there are questions at the end of each chapter for the children to answer. Upon receiving the answers additional booklets will be sent them.
You will find in these booklets, stories of the Bible events written in such a way that children can read and understand them. The entire work consists of 125 chapters of the Old Testament and 120 chapters of the New Testament.
The purpose for which the Macedonia Mission Society has published these booklets is for children to be instructed in the Bible stories, as well and above all else, to be a blessing for their immortal souls. Wherever an application is made it is in accordance to Scripture and the Reformed doctrine.
Parents and older friends are also invited to join in reading these booklets.
