Sirs:

I received a bundle of booklets entitled “The Lords Gracious Dealings, The Source of Spiritual Gratitude” by Mr. Septimus Sears, also a number of “The Almost Christian” and “On Being Prepared” by Revs. Mead and Boston. I would like to thank you for the booklets. I trust they are Free Grace booklets and not Freewill publications. There is an ocean of Freewill rubbish propagated today. Satan is working overtime in the world with his lies and Freewill is the basis on which all false systems of religion rest. Man lost his Freewill in Eden and is now Satan’s bondslave. Sin, Satan, and the World dominate his understanding, soul, will and affections. Until God comes and delivers, all exhortations to men are fruitless. Not that they must not be delivered in the right way, but not so as to leave the natural man with the idea that salvation is in his own hands, and he can have it if he will. The awful part is, that it is not in his hands. He is Satan’s bondslave, bound hand and foot by sin, blinded and with the eyes of his understanding put out. Only God can restore the sight. Only God can restore the life. Only God can restore the soul. This of course does not mean that the Gospel must not be preached to all men. The Gospel must be preached but not offered in the way I have mentioned. The gospel must be preached and issues left with God. I am a believer in the Doctrines of Free and Sovereign Grace and if you feel you can send me further publications, I shall be most pleased to receive them and to distribute them where I feel led to, yes and otherwise. I do not see how I can pay for them as there seems to be no way whereby I can obtain American money and moreover I am an Old Age Pensioner. I do hope the Lord will bless your work, and give you all financial help. My country England is in a deplorable state. Sin runs down our streets like water. Men are lovers of pleasure. The Lord’s Day is profaned by millions of motorists. Legalized murder of unborn infants by abortion. Corruption of the Scriptures by erroneous translations. Ecumenical Union of all false systems of religion leading to Rome. These are some of the abominations we are afflicted with. The nation is rushing to Antichrist and unification with Europe. Our currency is changing to European currency. Only God can turn back these awful tides of evil. But He isn’t and that means judgment. The opening of the Great and Terrible Day (Period) of the Lord, Revelation -Chapter 6 verses 12–17 is not far off. The Sun and Moon darkened. A huge earthquake in the European and Mediteranean area. Mountains and islands moved out of their places.
