ANNOUNCEMENT OF A NEW SERIES

Each time we take up our Bibles we take a miracle into our hands. What book but the Bible could have survived the centuries of its history and the many hands through which it has passed. Think of the countless times it has been copied and recopied and handed from one generation to another. And how wave after wave of conquest has swept over the land of its origin, burying cities and their records in ashes and ruins. And yet the Bible we hold today is the same Word of God that came from the pens of the inspired writers. Only the power of God could have kept His Word intact and preserved its purity down through the ages so that to us also is this word of salvation sent.

Beginning next month, the Lord willing, we hope to begin a series tracing the history of the Bible. May these articles impress us with the Lord’s faithfulness in preserving His Word for us and give us a greater reverence and appreciation for our Bibles.
