WEDDING ANNIVERSARY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Mr. and Mrs. John H. Anker, R.R. No. 1, Orange City, Iowa, will celebrate their thirtieth wedding anniversary March 28.

The Lord willing, on May 1, 1965, our parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Walma hope to celebrate their sixtieth wedding anniversary. Their children are Mr. and Mrs. Donald Walma, Mr. and Mrs. Garry Brunsink (Grace), Mr. and Mrs. John Koster (Edna), Mr. and Mrs. August J. Post (Jessie), Mr. and Mrs. John Walma, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Knott (Irene), Mr. and Mrs. Henry Walma. Twenty-seven grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren.

This is Mount Tabor, according to ancient tradition, the site of the Transfiguration. It rises 1843 feet above sea level and lies to the southwest of the Sea of Galilee. In Old Testament times it was on the border of Issachar, Zebulon and Naphthali. Barak gathered 10,000 men at its feet to fight Sisera, and Zebah and Zalmunna, kings of Midian, slew Gideon’s brothers there. Judges 8:18,19.
